Ghosts and Goblins and Ghouls…Oh, My!

Halloween events abound in our area

Leaves swirl in the chilly wind as darkness falls and the almost bare trees seem mysterious.  Were those ghostly footsteps behind you?  Could be….

The weekend of festivals and small creatures chirping "Trick or Treat!" has come.  There are plenty of family-fun events and activities nearby - here’s a list of some of the Halloween happenings in our area:

Bowie

Celebrate Autumn at Belair Stable’s Halloween Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Young Ghouls and Hobgoblins, Super Heroes and Fairy Princesses from ages 3 to 11 are invited to join in games, crafts, a Costume Parade, snacks and pony rides (weather permitting). Costumes are encouraged! The event is free. Belair Stable is located at 2835 Belair Drive. Please call 301-809-3089 or email: museumevents@cityofbowie.org

Trick or Treating in Bowie is October 31, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The Boooowie Baysox all new Haunted House returns for fright filled nights in October!

Annapolis

Take a lantern-led ghost walk through the historic downtown district on a spine-tingling journey into Annapolis’ dark and troubled history, while meeting some of our more spirited residents and visiting our most horrific haunted sites!
