Redkins and Ravens Rule
Two football teams turn up the heat
They should have put up one of those notices before the games started last Sunday. "Caution: The following football contests may contain moments of heart-stopping excitement." And they could have called it truth in advertising.
The Redskins worked against one of the best defenses in football, right up to the third play of overtime. Then with a 20-yard throw that slid through the fingers of two would-be interceptors, Brunell connected with Moss who raced to the end zone and the spectacular completion of a 68-yard play to win 36-30 over the Florida Jaguars.
That would have been enough for one Sunday, but up the road in Baltimore, the Ravens were putting on their own display of grit and determination. Never leading until McNair’s touchdown pass to Heap with only 34 seconds left in the game, the Ravens pulled out a win over the previously undefeated San Diego Chargers, and remaining unbeaten themselves.
Grit, determination, never giving up, and coming through in the clutch. All characteristics of great teams whether you’re talking about football, baseball, or real estate. Check us out – we’ll be your home team advantage.
